Milcotec’s installation team is a key part of the company’s operations. The team consists of highly experienced technicians with strong backgrounds in machine and milking robot maintenance, IT systems and technical communication. This broad expertise is essential when working on farms, whether troubleshooting faults or ensuring correct communication between multiple systems.
At present, Milcotec has two dedicated installers who travel across Denmark to install, service and repair milking robots and related equipment. One day the job may be on Bornholm, the next in Northern Jutland – or even at a farm in Germany.
The installation team works closely with Milcotec’s workshop, which handles repairs and maintenance of robots, spare parts and technical components. Together, they ensure reliable operation and fast response times for customers.
Milcotec operates a 24/7 on-call service all year round, providing support whenever it is needed.
The installers have extensive knowledge of Lely, Urban and Dairymaster systems and regularly attend training courses with suppliers. This ensures they are always up to date with products, software updates and new technological solutions.
Experienced technicians with strong backgrounds
Martin Staak is trained as an agricultural machinery mechanic and IT engineer. He has worked at Milcotec for ten years and previously gained experience with Lely in Germany.
Iver Mørk has worked with sales and service of Lely robots and has also been a DeLaval dealer in Denmark for several years. His background gives him a broad understanding of both robotic and conventional milking solutions.
Advice beyond machines and robots
Milcotec is also a supplier of chemicals and cleaning products for dairy operations. If challenges arise related to cleaning routines, hygiene or product selection, the installers are always available to provide practical advice and guidance.
